EDUCATION
I attended Oregon State University and graduated from Oregon Health and Science University in 2009. After I graduated, my wife Michele and I moved to rural Bethel, Alaska. Living in a town of 5,000 people, accessible only by plane, I provided basic and specialized dental care in many unique settings. My team and I—and our portable equipment—spent three months each year flying to remote villages to provide dental care to small communities, including serving the needs of the Yupik-Eskimos on the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta. I learned how important it is to deliver safe comfortable care in a convenient and welcoming environment.
After practicing in Alaska, my family and I returned to Oregon in 2013. Now I work in the Salem, OR area with the best team ever, specializing in wisdom teeth extractions and other dental surgeries. We are happy to serve our community with the most current treatments for those looking for a safe, caring, and expert dental experience.
CONTINUING EXPERIENCE
The dental profession is always advancing, so I make sure to take every opportunity to improve my skills to create the safest environment for my patients’ dental treatment, including staying current with the latest technologies and techniques in sedation and emergency care. I’m involved in continuing education through the Multnomah Dental Society, volunteering with Medical Teams International, and teaching at the Oregon Academy of General Dentistry.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
I grew up in Gladstone, Oregon, and we have lived in the Salem area since 2013. My team and I are lucky to be able to give back and contribute to our community through our volunteer activities and clinic work.
When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with my wife, our two daughters, and our lab. We’re lucky to enjoy the beauty—and fishing opportunities—of the Oregon outdoors, whether in the woods or on the Oregon coast.
